PRE-FLIGHT INDICATIONS

HOW TO GET TO THE TAKE-OFF (VERY IMPORTANT)
To make sure your GPS doesn’t send you the wrong way, we will send you 2 locations. It’s important to follow them in this order:

First location: the entrance to the access track.

Second location: once you arrive at the first point, open the second one and it will take you directly to the take-off site.
It’s about 2 km of dirt/forest track. Any normal car can drive up.

Route video: click to watch. (It’s sped up and slows down at junctions. It’s an old video, but the road is better now.)

MEETING TIME & DURATION
We’ll give you an approximate meeting time. In the mountains, wind strength can change and sometimes we may need to wait for it to drop a little, or there can be slight delays.
Important: the exact flight time cannot be guaranteed, so please come with no rush 😊

WHAT TO WEAR / BRING
It depends on the season, but think of it like riding a motorbike: it feels cooler in the air.
General recommendation:
• Long sleeves (always)
• Jacket / windbreaker
• Neck gaiter or scarf (except in very hot summer days)
• Hiking boots or sports trainers
• Sunglasses
• Gloves (especially in winter)

IF YOU WEAR PRESCRIPTION GLASSES
Bring them with confidence: they won’t fall off. The helmet helps hold them in place and the wind pushes them gently towards your face.

FOOD & DRINK
We don’t recommend eating right before the flight.
And for safety: no alcohol before flying (better to celebrate after).

WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT TAKE-OFF
We may be flying with other passengers and there may also be other companies. Ask any pilot for David from TuviTándem and they’ll tell you where we are.

WHERE TO PARK
Please park where the other vehicles are, usually just past the take-off area. This keeps the space clear for take-offs/landings and for students with less experience.

RESPECT FOR NATURE (THANK YOU)
We’re in a natural environment and we all take care of it.
Please take any rubbish with you.

TOILETS
There are no toilets in the mountains. If you need to go “in nature”, please don’t leave toilet paper or wet wipes behind. I’ll have a trash bag in my van for it if needed. Thank you.

LANDING & FRIENDS / FAMILY
We usually land in the same area as take-off, so passenger changes are quick and smooth.
Anyone staying on the ground can watch and record the take-off, the flight and the landing.

PAYMENT
If it’s not a Gift Voucher you’ve received, payment is after the flight.
If it works for you, we prefer cash.
Alternative: bank transfer to the club account when we confirm the flight (the day before).

PHOTOS & VIDEO
If you’ve already booked the photo/video package, or if you want to decide on the day, please remind us when we meet (or when we ask).

CHILDREN AT TAKE-OFF

The take-off area is artificial grass and it’s surrounded by gravel to help drain water. Kids often feel like tossing small stones onto the turf, but this can damage the paraglider fabric when we lay it out and slide it on the ground.
Please, if you’re coming with children, help us prevent this. All the pilots will really appreciate it!

COLLABORATORS

RESTAURANT (10% DISCOUNT)
If after the flight you’d like to have dinner in the village, or eat before going up to the take-off, Bar San Miguel offers you a 10% discount for flying with us. Highly recommended!
